GOCAR
The Global On-line Corrective Action Reporting system is a web enabled
application that collects and tracks information regarding the occurrence of
poor quality within the supply chain. The system is linked to GOCERTS enabling
swift identification and location of product lots suspected of inferior
quality. GOCAR captures any issue in production quality information, or storage
and transportation related damages that may affect quality.
Through the GOCAR system, complaint and product rejects are identified and the
inventory is located. Through its link with GOCERTS, future shipments can be
immediately contained until the quality concern is fully understood. GOCAR
tracks the validation of the concern, root cause analysis and corrective action
plan that will prevent the future occurrence of poor quality. GOCAR
requirements and operating principles are consistent with ISO /
QS-9000/TS-16949 standards, and it dramatically reduces the resources needed to
manage non-conformance and corrective action reporting in all major quality
management systems.
